📍 Rue du Marche, Carouge, Geneva
Carouge Hemp is situated in Carouge, a municipality designed and built by the Sardinian king in the 18th century that maintains a distinctly Mediterranean character within the broader Geneva urban area. The neighbourhood has its own village atmosphere, with narrow streets, craft ateliers and an excellent covered market.
The shop takes an artisan approach that suits the neighbourhood: a curated range of Swiss CBD hemp and hemp cosmetics made in small batches, with a strong emphasis on provenance and traditional extraction methods. The soap and cosmetic range, produced locally using hemp seed oil and CBD extracts, is a particular strength.
Carouge is easily reached from central Geneva by tram 12, which runs along the Rive Gauche and continues south into the neighbourhood. The village character of Carouge makes it one of the most pleasant half-day destinations in the greater Geneva area.
