About Club 01 Eindhoven
Club 01 opened in Woensel in 2012, serving the residential areas north of Eindhoven city centre. The shop caters primarily to local residents and students from the nearby educational institutions, maintaining a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere rather than the more tourist-facing presentation of some city-centre shops.
The interior is comfortable and unpretentious, with regular customers who know the staff and a friendly atmosphere that makes first-time visitors feel welcome. Club 01 is not trying to be the most impressive coffeeshop in Eindhoven; it is trying to be the most reliable neighbourhood option in its part of the city.
The menu is focused: typically 10 to 16 varieties of flower plus three or four hash options. The rotation is consistent, with new varieties introduced when they become available from trusted suppliers. Prices are at the accessible end of the Eindhoven market.
Woensel is a predominantly residential district but has good transport links to the city centre via tram and bus. The nearby Winkelcentrum Woensel is one of the largest shopping centres in the Netherlands, making Club 01 convenient for visitors in that part of the city.
