Bio Koffie opened in the Westerpark district in 2008 with a clear mission: to offer cannabis sourced and grown with genuine organic principles in a neighbourhood where the creative and environmental communities overlap. The Westerpark area, with its repurposed gasworks cultural complex and independent restaurant scene, proved a perfect fit for this approach.
The shop has a warm, plant-filled interior that reflects its values — sustainable materials, thoughtful design and a calm atmosphere that encourages customers to slow down and enjoy the experience. The crowd includes local creatives, environmentally conscious visitors and anyone who has grown tired of the anonymous, transactional feel of more commercial venues. Organic principle and good taste coexist here naturally.
The cannabis menu exclusively features biologically grown flower alongside house-made edibles baked with the same organic standards. Prices run €10–18 per gram, reflecting the quality and growing practices involved. Staff are well-informed about the products' provenance and happy to explain the differences between the strains on offer. The Westerpark and the Westergasfabriek cultural complex are directly nearby.
