About The Jungle
The Jungle is the undisputed flagship of Almere’s coffeeshop scene. As the city’s largest and most comprehensively stocked shop, it serves as the reference point by which all other Almere coffeeshops are measured. The interior design earns its name: lush botanical touches, deep green tones, and a sense of being immersed in something verdant and alive. Despite its size, The Jungle manages to feel personal and welcoming rather than impersonal. Staff are trained to handle a high-volume service without sacrificing the quality of each interaction, and the shop runs smoothly whether it is a quiet Tuesday afternoon or a busy Friday evening.
Menu & Products
The Jungle carries the widest selection in Almere, with fifteen or more flower varieties available on a typical day covering every major strain category. Premium flower lines sit alongside more affordable everyday options, giving the shop genuine range. The hash selection is equally strong, including Moroccan, Afghani, and some premium Dutch-pressed varieties. Edibles including space cakes are reliably stocked. Pre-rolls come in multiple sizes. Accessories and grinders are also available for those who need them. The Jungle is the one-stop shop for anyone visiting Almere.
Getting There
Almere Stad is Almere’s main district and is served by Almere Centrum station, which has direct train connections to Amsterdam Centraal in around twenty minutes. From the station, The Jungle is reachable on foot or by bike in the city centre area. Almere is a modern planned city with excellent cycling infrastructure. Bus services connect all major districts. Car parking in Almere Stad is considerably easier than in older Dutch cities, with central car parks well-signed from the main approach roads.
Coffeeshop Rules
All Dutch coffeeshops follow the same rules: age 18+, no alcohol mixing, max 5g per visit, no tobacco in some venues, consumption on-premises or take away.
